ShinyRise DA Backing Plate is a heavy-duty backing plate made for Dual Action Polisher, or Random Orbit Polisher.
Built with hard-wearing polyurethane material, this backing plate is designed to be durable, stable, flexible, hear resistant and to protect the surface being polished. This backing plate is able to endure the mechanical demand of non-stop polishing day in day out and helps minimize wear and damage to the polishing pad, ensuring a long-lasting use.
Our backing pads features beveled edges to better conform to curved surfaces, providing smoother application.
Features a high-quality hook-and-loop (Velcro) surface to securely attach and removal foam, wool, or microfiber polishing and buffing pads.
Our DA Backing Plate features holes for heat dissipation and cooling, preventing the backing plate and polishing pad from overheating and degrading, prolongs the life of the pad and the polisher’s glue, and can help maintain cooler surface temperatures for better polishing results.
Those holes also function as a dust extraction system, allowing dust and debris to be captured and removed from the surface during polishing operations.
